What our local newspaper says about us:
Entrusting the care of your children to someone else is never easy for any parent and finding trained, caring professionals to leave them with can be even harder.
Tamworth has an alternative that is helping to make this a little easier for parents and carers.
In a quiet South Tamworth street, you will now find Janelle Street Centre which is owned by the Tamworth Baptist Church and operated by a board of management.
The centre's location is convenient for parents dropping off children before and collecting them after work. It is far enough away from main Tamworth thoroughfares to be clear of traffic but close enough to be only a small diversion from the direct route to where you need to be.
Janelle Street Centre is a long-day child care and pre-school centre that opened for the first time on January 10 this year. It can cater for up to 72 children from six weeks to five years old. The facilities are clean, fresh and provide a safe environment for your child. The staff and the board of management understand and take their responsibility of caring for your children very seriously.
"We value the trust placed in the staff of the centre and see our role as a complementary and equipping partnership with families for the ultimate well-being of the children," chairman of the board Dr Raymond Dart said.
Parents and carers are welcome to visit and inspect the facilities.
The centre can be contacted on 6762 8452 or turn off Hillvue Road into Bryan Street, then take the first left into Janelle Street The staff are more than happy to chat and help you find out what they can do to help you out of your childcare worries.
