Welcome to Janelle Street Centre Long Day Care

So, first things first – You want to know whether we are going to be the right fit for you and your child.

Let’s give you some information to help you make that decision:

• We are a 72-place long day care centre
• We are located in a quiet street in South Tamworth
• We are fully air-conditioned and open from 7:00am to 6:00pm.
• We educate, care for, encourage, enrich and have heaps of fun with children as young as 6 weeks, all the way to 6 years.
• We have four trained Early Childhood Teachers, who are assisted by amazing Educators that have either a Diploma or Certificate III.
• They provide individual programmes that are age-appropriate based on the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework. As a key part of our programme, we offer a structured but flexible Pre-School programme as well as a School Readiness programme that assists the older children as they prepare for school.
• There are 4 rooms that are age and developmentally appropriate. Transition between rooms is managed on an individual basis and involves the child’s family, the Room Leader and the Centre Director – all working to ensure the best experience for the child.
• Importantly, we are a ministry of Tamworth Baptist Church. This means that our education is Christ-Centred.
• Our board of directors is a team of people who give their time to help enrich our centre. They do this voluntarily and we appreciate the time that they give up helping us provide the best place for your family.
